Stela

How does this compare to GRIS?
I am loving GRIS, however, it has the terrible short coming of being short. Is this game like it?

Both are enjoyable for different reasons, though overall I'd say GRIS is the more accomplished of the two titles since it has such a unique art style and it tells an actual story you can comprehend, whereas Stela only has loose narrative threads that are completely open to interpretation.

i would say a little, yea. but this game have more action (you can die), and you have to scape enemies. i like gris for the story, and stella for putting me out of my confort zone, but they are very alike in some aspects

A bit, but it probably a bit closer to Planet Alpha in style and theme.

The comparison to Planet Alpha is apt. GRIS has far less action and far more downtime than this game. (To me, GRIS is boring basically, this game on the other hand had me on the edge of my seat the whole time). So if that's not your thing, then I guess this game isn't for you.

GRIS has much more emotional power and beauty, and also more complex puzzles. Stela is mostly about running from monsters. It is beautiful, but its not terribly sophisticated.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Yep, this all matches my experience.
