Still can't pick pet on starting map, making leveling more than 1 girl actively punish you
Bosses still full of anti-melee mechanics (just with the first boss he has 2 dashes with near no end-lag to get into melee to hit him before he does a different move, throws down bombs near him, leaves poison near him and his bird projectiles can't realistically be countered outside of going to range)
Bosses can still just become invincible or go off-screen and regen their invincibility meter with absolutely no counterplay
Still lacks QoL and UI improvements. I start run, Isee the girls, they have 5 circles with ????? next to them. What are these? Not a single idea, game never explains it.
Still generally incredibly easy if you just use ranged weapons because so many enemies literally can't hurt you and you can stack status so fast
