Any chance on getting this to work with Proton?
So I basically am not paying a Windows licence to read this. Attempting to run this with Proton just gets me to an Adobe Air installer that gets stuck at 0%. Any help?

Good news! The Adobe Air installer works now with Proton 5, apparently.

Unfortunately, while the application seems to start at least at all, it doesn't last for longer than a second.

Fast forward 2 years from the OP, it works if you install the bundled version and refuse the update. It is still broken like on Windows, though, whoever managed the servers didn't do a great job.

It is amusing actually, to think that Proton has better compatibility with certain pieces of Windows software than the most recent Windows release. And things look like game developers are shifting towards supporting Proton out of the box, we truly live in interesting times.

In the grand scheme of things, Linux + Wine/Proton support more Windows games than Windows does. To the point where now DXVK is actually a thing on Windows now, because somehow it's more compatible than, y'know, current DX.
