How to turn off that "plonk" sound every time you push the "A" buton?
It gets irritating very fast. Every time there is one line of dialogue and you push "A" to progress, you get that "plonk" sound. It's like; "Where should we go?", "PLONK", "I don't know", "PLONK", "Should we ask the others? , "PLONK". "Good Idea", "PLONK", and so on, and so on.

I know it's maybe a little thing for other people. But I really want to get rid of that stupid sound. I cannot find any setting to get that sound disappear or at least lower the volume, other than lower all environmental sounds at the same time. And that's not very satisfying to say the least.

So - Does anyone know about a modification or setting that removes that "plonk" sound, or at least lower the volume? I don't mind if I even have to modify some game files, or make changes to .ini files or something.

This is a strange request, but I sort of have a solution.

- Unpack the game archives using this tool[github.com].
- Rename/delete the original PAK files, because the game prioritizes them over loose files.
- Find which file is responsible for the sound effect that bothers you so much. Rename/delete it.

Well - Not that strange, because no other Atelier game has that strange sound (as far as I know), and it's relatively loud, so it gets irritating fast. I am really not that picky normally, but for some reason this rubs me the wrong way.

Anyway - thanks a lot for your advice. I will certainly take a look into it. Very much appreciated!
