Possible Virus from the +18 Patch

Hey. I recently downloaded the +18 Patch but it was immediately quarantined by my anti-virus software. Before a restore the file, is there actually dangerous software within the patch? Thank you for your help.

I didn't had this happen to me, but it could be a false positive. If you are unsure have a look at the file your AV detected as dangerous, whitelist it or deactivate AV for a sec (so that the file doesn't get removed) and upload it to https://www.virustotal.com

That way it will be scanned with 50+ AV Engines and if it is detected by under 5 I would consider it secure. Even more so if the other ones have something like "heur" or "heuristics" in the detected malware type.
