- regarding changing into another terrain/ not the book terrain:
on the right side you have the quickselect menu, there is an icon that looks like a terrain, click that and you get to choose the different presets for terrains
- regarding changing the terrain size:
in the same menu (the terrain menu) you see an icon, that looks like some sliders, klick taht and you open the option for the terrain, here you can adjust the terrain size and tiling

Thanks mate,
I returned the game, but still haven't settled on map software, so will keep this in mind, when I do. Truth is that I was hoping to find something that I could use for Traveller, as well as other TTRPGs, and literally nothing decent exists in the scifi map generation department.
But life has taken me down a different path for the moment, so I'll revisit this, when I'm finally forced to decide which way to jump. :-)
