I'm planning a trip in Ireland and I'll be passing by Achill. Does anyone know the exact location of the house if it still exists ?

I'd really want to go by this house because this game really changed my whole life and it's quite important to me

In the final game, the physical location is instead a bit closer to Keel, basically Boycott's house on Achill (THAT boycott lol), which is a big old house but a different look, it's changed a bunch. It's also private so don't disturb the folks living there, but you might be able to see it from the road. And you can walk around to Keem bay from there like Kasio, haha.

Kasio's house is towards bog road outside Dooagh, but again totally fictional, so not an exact house. Keel beach and Keem are real, and Dugort, small town, where Maggy lived.

It's a really beautiful island though! So I hope you enjoy it if you get a chance to visit.

Ok I've done a bit of research. The devs apparently say it would be between Keem and Keel, but they also say that it is in Doogort, which is not the same place. And I've also seen in the game in the eviction letter that the house is located on the mountainside of Croaghaun. Seeing that the only road near Croaghaun is between Keel and Keem this seems like the most likely option. But this could also be wrong because the road leading to the house is described as a "bog road" so it might not appear on google maps. After browsing for like an hour on street view I've been able to locate only a single house with two storey and the same arrangement of chimney, but the door front is different so it's not quite it.
I just stumbled upon a road that's literally called Bog Road so it might come from here, unfortunately street view doesn't go very far into it because well it's a bog road.
This might be the end of the rabbit hole for me. I knew the house was fictional but I'd really hope to find something at the end of this. At least I saw some nice sheeps and landscape. I might still go to this place just to see how it is, and the loghs look really nice. But no house for me I guess. Thanks for following this adventure with me anyway.

Hi, it looks like it's Loughmask house and it's in county Mayo. But leave those people alone. They are not affiliated with us. We just use that house as reference.

Well as promised, I'm doing a trip by bicycle from Paris to Achill Island. I'll be departing in exactly a month, and I should reach Achill Island around the 20th of July.

If anyone want to meet up along the way it would be awesome meeting some fellow irish friends !
