No worries! I think it's related to the new Steam interface. It appears to list the download size separately from the disk size and it doesn't handle (or maybe communicate?) deltas well. The patch is only 30MB but it's applied using deltas to a 4GB pak file and that is displayed.

Rest assured, though. It's just a 30MB download so your network bandwidth is safe.
