Are there any actual threats in the Nightmare mode?

I am a huge coward when it comes to horror games. And even in the base game CSC managed to spook me a bunch of times. But I still remain calm, because I know that everything and everyone on the location is dead, and even a so-called "ghost house" was basically a big prank, no actual danger involved.
Won't hurt to ask, I guess, but does Nightmare Mode contain any threats that may result in character death, chases or gameplay restrictions? Like spirits chasing us through spaces, or character losing vision because of not avoiding the monsters? Visual or audio jumpscares don't count, as they don't impact the gameplay.

I would highly appreciate honest answers, because I have some health problems, and would like to know upfront if there is anything I need to be prepared for. Thank you.

Don't worry there isn't anything like that in nightmare mode. A few sorta jump scares but nothing that will end your game or restrict your game play in any way. It's all just a nightmare so there's no real threat.

I haven't experienced anything like this. The nightmare mode levels tend to give a sense of unease but the horror aspects are pretty light. The spookiest mission is probably the nightmare pizzeria but you're never in any danger.

Nothing chaces you, no time limits, no nothing. Control is not taken away from you for even a single second by someone holding or pushing you, nothing. The closest to that is that one moment the door is locked behind you and you hear noises outside as if it was a massacre. And that is all.

There are some things people could call jumpscares, but they ain't really jumpscares. It is just that you go somewhere, rad something, turn around and a maniken is standing there. Like, gives you a startle, but not a jump scare as such.

It plays on the creepy vibe, not the scary one.
