I'm afraid I'm not completely understanding what the problem is. When exactly is the game freezing, is it when loading the course for testing or actually during testing?
It may be helpful to see the game logs. The logs are located at Documents\My Games\MiniGolf Maker\Logs and you can send them to support@roadturtlegames.com.

If there are a bunch of logs in the Logs folder, and you don't know which one is for the time you experienced the freeze, you can email all of them to support@roadturtlegames.com and I will look through all of them.
