I have the exact same problem. After bussiness is big enough, the gamer starts to slow down too much and is unplayable.

Trying to recreate ,
It happened after npc's went all grey ( had 3 businesses running + Farm) Fps dropped down to 30's ( at game start have max for my screen 170 , then as game goes on fps drops ) Right now i'm hovering around 60 . My specs are :
AMD 5600x
32 Gb Ram
RTX 3070

RAM USAGE : starts around 30 % ( after playing a while 35%)
CPU USAGE : Low 20's
GPU Usage : Low 30's

Hope this helps a little :)
PS with such low cpu and gpu usage , whys fps drop so much ?

Really enjoying this so far guys hope you manage to iron out the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ :D

Hi ! I got the same issue : my fps are very low because I got some employes and businesses, but at the very beggining when I got pretty much nothing (a little farm and a little business, a few employes too) I got 60 fps.
I mention that I got a good setup (intel i9, 16Go RAM, RTX 3070) but not all my ressources are used by the game. Meanwhile my fps are drowning when playing with a save with some businesses on it and an extended farm (not that much extended btw).

Anyway, I really hope that you guys can do improvements so that the game can be playable when we grow up our very legitimate empire.

I'll keep my eyes on future improvements. Thank you for this promising game !

Could you send us your save file so we can have a look at this? Hopefully we can replicate this in our offices

Your save file is located

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dopeloop\DNFC_Data\StreamingAssets\FacilityData

Then if you could zip it (otherwise it may corrupt when being sent to us and crash because of compression) and send it via weshare or file.io

The game is singlecore, so thats why on high-end hardware you still get FPS drops when the single core simply cant keep up with everything going around. Alot of games have this issue unfortunately, (most use Unity )
