If that's the case, they do tend to start cleaning after a short while, is it persisting?

yes not break will literally be standing in dirt saying looking for work

I had to assign mine a room to get them to start cleaning

for me they often just go clean a patch in front of shower in loop. fire him and hire an new fix fit for few days

Yeah my cleaners are completely broken as well.

Same issue. The place is a mess.

It's either:
Cleans 1 spot, walks away, returns to clean spot and cleans again.
OR
"Looking for work" and only cleans 1 spot per 2hrs.

the issue is the path finding to the dirt tile .. when i had a small efficient but compact areas like every tile had a blue function tile places over it .. the dirt tile build to 3 cleaner goes over to it and attempts to clean but due to some overlap or under lap of the tile the tile doesn't register the attempt .. picking up the closest object that's near the dirt tile (like lifing the couch up to vacuum irl) 90% of the time the cleaner will go back to the loop spot and actually clean that tile(as long as you have one cleaner set to clean all rooms) you then put that object back down in same spot .. until i had enough $$$ to build a huge factory with well spaced areas roof items to replace floor items and spaced out the whole thing so one white tile of no overlapping object was found ... suddenly all my cleaning issue vanished .. i have run it for over ten hours now and never once i get a infinite loop cleaner have to fire his BS a$$ dress him up ever again maddness ..

my cleaner wont clean anything ever. cleanliness overlay shows 100 in many places and high numbers everywhere else. its been daya and days in game, he just wanders around "looking for work"
