How hard is it to install mods and is there a mod to disable/change the level system?
Wanted to do another run after many years but the one thing that was always a bit annoying with this game is that the enemys level with you which kinda defeats the purpose of leveling for me since you cant overpower your enemy by just grinding.

Just find a trainer or a CE table that set gained exp to 0. Level by refining magic.

Even with levelelin enemies its game easy on max stats anyway. And whats the funn killing monsters at 1 level given almost zero exp anyway? :D that iritated me on FFVII when i return to the Midgar area there were no chalenging killing those rats giving you 9999 characters almost zero damage. :D

For installing mods, i recommend watching a install guide on youtube, its not really hard.
Took me like max 2 hours. Hardest part was scrolling through quihmms website XD

Also: i bought the hd updated background textures (while roaming around, dont confuse it with world map or combat background) from some guy on patreon for 2 euros which was totally worth it. Author originally said he will upload it for free but i guess he forgot to do it.

For the 0 exp thing, CE is your mate. I personally didnt bother and played it normally and the game was a breeze (except for lvl 5 death).

Remastered version also offers "MAX DRAW" option from the start to get 99x the amount per draw.
