I played this game back in the day and use to have to use the YSA mod or something to make the game harder. Is there a Very Hard setting for PC?

picked up this game after all these years and after finishing the main story I guess if i ever wanted to see the DLC content I would need to buy this game again and play through the story over again. Good game, bad business practice.

How do I set up the control layout on the steam deck to access slots 5-9? I've read that it's possible, but I still don't understand how. The rollouts from the community don't really help.
