Do I need to play through the other gender timeline to complete this?
Hi! I'm about 8 hours in and basically gone every ending on the male path, besides the ones that require codes, which I don't completely have. Do I need to play as a girl to figure these out, or can I do it from the male only tree by romancing people?

I'm enjoying the game quite a bit but I am feeling pretty "finished", or rather ready to see some proper wrap ups, and don't know if I'm up for restarting as a girl (especially when stuff gets repeated a few times but can't be skipped)

Yes, you need to play as a girl to get the rest of the pieces of the code, which you need to see the actual character endings. If you really feel "done" there's a minimal-spoilers guide that will tell you the code, but you'll be missing a lot of content - the female version of you has events/endings with each character. It is annoying to have to skip same-seeming text, though, and that will happen a lot on the female route because her voice lines count as "different" text.
