Noooooo, that shouldn't happen and I am so sorry that it has! (T . T)
If you don't mind, could you please answer a few questions, so I can locate the problem and bud fix? :)
- What version of the game do you have? The version is written on the credits scene in Extras.
- Are you playing as a boy or a girl when this happened?
- Do you remember roughly what clues everyone has given you? (makes it easier for my to pinpoint the mistake.)

I think this may be the result of a pathing cross over by mistake (like, you have gotten a boys scene when you should have gotten a girls scene e.t.c) but any information you can provide will help me pin point the issue and repair it :)

The version is 01.01.211
I'm playing as a boy.
The clues that i got are (I don't remember the exact wording I only wrote down the positions when i was playing):
-my own ( beatrix - Melody - katashi)
-valdimir (kimiko in between a boy and a girl)
-melody ( shizuka - vladimir)
-katashi ( nikolas in between 2 boys)
-Beatrix (melody- katashi -vladimir)

If I want to keep playing is it better if I don't go for beatrix and with melody when i have the choice or should i retsrt the chapter and make different choices?

Thank you for the information! I have been able to play that scene on my end and see that Beatrix is triggering as if I spoke to Nikolas (rather than Katashi) - Thank you, I will attempt to fix this in the upcoming patch :D

As for your question regarding playing/the clues you have received:

The clues you have received are all correct for the boy route :) Melody and Beatrix clues don't contradict each other -

Melody Vladmir is to the right of Shizuka
Beatrix Katashi is to the right of Melody and left of Vladmir

Being to the right of left of someone, doesn't mean directly unless stated - it just means they are on their right. For example. . . .
(mock up example of layout):

Melody / Beatrix / Nikolas / Yoshiki / Vladimir

A clue could say that Vladimir is to the right of Beatrix (even though he is not right next to her - but simply on the right side of her)

I hope this helps with the confusion and sorry about that! :D

As for whether you should restart the chapter or wait to play - other than Beatrix triggering as if you spoke to Nikolas, all the other information happening is correct :) So please do play as you wish and I will work on fixing that mishap in future plays :D

ah, thanks I didn't understand that when they said left/right they didn't mean directly to the left/right

another thing that maybe I didn't get correctly is, when for example they say that kimiko is between a boy and a girl do they mean that there is a boy on the left and a girl on the right or that kimiko is between a boy and a girl but you don't actually know which of the 2 is in which position?

Hi Salas!

That just means that she is directly between a boy and a girl but it is up to you to work out whether the boy is on the left or the right :D

I don't know if I'm just unlucky or something but I think i found another error:

so right now I'm at chapter 2 day 13 in the route where yoshiki died

I was put in the team with kimiko shizuka and vladimir.

on day 13 I was given the choice to ask one of them about the watch and I went with shizuka.

after that a scene with Ai played and she told me that I could put the deactivation code from everywhere and after that there was this baffling dialogue[i.imgur.com] from the protagonist.

The only weird thing that i did was that when i saw the result of the second game I went back with the mouse scroll to try and see if I could actually hit someone else and at that point shizuka died, but I liked her more than yoshiki and so i went back again and sticked with my first choice

I don't know if this is the thing that could have caused the problem or something but I don't think so because the timeline where chapter 2 is unlocked is on the one where yoshiki died

Hi Again Salas!

Ah - that line of dialogue and I have a long, heated past.
In particular time lines, that line appears when you aren't on the team with Kimiko - however, I have made a mistake, and it has appeared in the lines in which Kimiko is accessible.

I have attempted fixes for this problem more than 4 times... and yet somehow, it keeps appearing!

It has been a problem over multiple timelines - and each time I think I have finally fixed it!

I don't know if it can be of any help but i tried all the 3 options before that scene with all the 3 characters and I still got that dialogue

also just to know what kind of dialogue would be supposed to be there?

is it something that leads to the same outcome (not asking her about her mother) but with different words or it something else?

Hey Salas!

So that line is just supposed to appear when you aren't on the team with her - doesn't really lead to anything important because all the pathing happens based on deaths in the deletion games :)

I just found another one bug

this isn't really anything gamebreaking but after having got my first ending I used the timeline to get back to bidding war to get to the other branch and I immidiatly got the "I Bid Thee Farewell" achievement

but reading the requiremtns to unlock it "Play Bidding Wars in at least 6 timelines" I feel like that it either unlocks at the wrong time or that the text is wrong, because that was just the second time I played that game and it was still on the same timeline anyway

Another weird part of dialogue:

after the first round of the bid game in the route where vlad dies i get this[i.imgur.com] result and after this part the protagonist then says this[i.imgur.com]

first of all he is without any point and second he isn't the only one without points either

nah, if small things like this ruined my experience of a game, I would have stopped playing a lot of games a long time ago

also just the fact that I keep on reporting them instead of ignoring them means that I like the game enough to use some of my time to report them
