one was going on for a long time, another recently was found and closed
all were refunded in the end pretty sure as is the common
steam will just refund it
masses of people knew about the exploit and saw each removed game they bought refunded
its a temp method and the one that was last used lasted a few days before being closed
there was one going on for near about a year that most knew nothing of which think is now closed
im in a group of collectors, they all tried bought and were sent refunds after valve found the exploit and closed it
they would get closed and everyone would get refunded
lots of people tried it some had more time to play said games but in the end everyone saw refunds
paypal took your money? normally it would be a pending charge that removes over time
like how banks have pending charges
i assume everyone got refunded by the automated bot as the games were removed from there accounts, kinda an old topic these days
though exploits do reappear at times and they all try again with the same ending refunds
this exploit involves paypal and goes highly into territory were people have seen community bans till 2040 and paypal bans
would say dont mess with it, take no chances
the exploit seems to involve paypal heavily and theyll ban accounts that abuse em
the exploit is also hitting twitch, so more of a paypal sided exploit a video explained
