I was thinking of buying this game cause I liked Apostle and I wanted to try some other Kagura games, but this just seems like a game for emotional masochists and incels. Can someone explain the appeal?

So I’ve taken the plunge and started playing this game…already I can sense it’s super dark and I love it…although I may not like it later 😅 but I was wondering if there’s more games like this one. Wailing Guignol is one I can think of, I liked how dark the story was which why I like DHP only after an hr of play. If you have any recommendations I’d really appreciate it....
