Cant start the game

I just purchased this, sadly im not able to start it at all...
When i click play it says "Preparing to start sCATter..." and after that nothing happens
tried to start it from within steamvr aswell but that didnt work either

Please apply the updated 1.1.2 patch today and let me know if there is a problem.

Sadly the update didnt seem to fix it either

I've tried running the games exe in compatibility mode
Running both the game and steam in administrator mode
Evaluating game cache

But sadly that still didnt fix it

For the most part Steam errors are caused by Steam itself, not games.

It only seems to be affecting sCATter tho, i can start any other game just fine

I tried this but still didnt manage to get the game started :/
