Rift Respawn

I am new to this game and i love the atmosphere, looting and exploration. And i quite like the combat. But i play VR Games for the experience and not for any challange. Is there a way to turn off the respawns of enemies due to rifts? I want to clear an area and take all the time i want to loot everything. I don't like the time pressure that comes with it because an already killed enemy could reappear at any second and i need to deal with him again.

Destroy the rift. No new enemies till the next Tide. Rifts are one-shot kills and drop a Core that can be sold.

Yeah but until i destroyed the rift i have to deal with the reaspawn and thats bad.

True, but enemies don't respawn that fast. Focus on the enemies that shoot back, ignoring the others, then destroy the Rift and take care of the remaining enemies if needed.

Sensor also detects rifts and some of them can be seen from a distance (if you have a modification for view range and fog reduction). If you don't like challenges, I'll assume you're playing at the lowest difficulty. If you put on a vest and a helmet, you can withstand many shots - it's good to have a syringe on hand. Remember that if you are shooting from a distance of about 100 m, it is best to aim slightly higher and observe the streak. I recommend the M9 through iron sight

I like to just charge the spawner, hit it with a pistol shot and then hide. I'll then peek corners for humanoid enemies or wait for other enemies to come to me.

Save before you charge in of course.

It is pretty easy to hit the rift before anything respawns

I normally just rush in, hit the rift before everything else and than deal with the rest :D
But I do know every safe path to reach them.

But you know rifts are not exactly at the same spot every tide? :)

They aren't, but they're very easy to find. They have a very distinct noise and show up on the anomaly detector
