high ping

when i play crack 1.6 i can play any server without laggy, but when i bought from steam i can only play on asia server. how to fix it?

Hi synapzerr, you should check your DNS in order to have good connection in the game. Check out Cloudflare DNS, if it doesn't suit your needs to prevent lag google others such as quad9.

that is all bs. dns is not used during udp game play.

- are you using the exact same config and rates?
- your cpu/ram is fine for steam? (steam overlay, webhelper is eating resources for low end devices)
- no-steam clients have a better protection against servers changing your settings than steam clients, so double check after joining
