Description

German heavy tank of World War II , the prototype of which was a tank VK4501 (H), developed in 1942 by " Henschel " under the direction of Erwin Aders .
For the first time tanks "Tiger" went into action August 29, 1942 at Mga station near Leningrad , began to be used en masse with the battles and the capture of Kharkov in February - March 1943 , were used by the Wehrmacht and SS troops until the end of the Second World War .
The total number of cars produced - 1354 units .
