Government Mods I made

Description
UPDATE: Ummm....Sometime earlier this month?

Well, after getting some help from littleraskol over at the Paradox Forums, the Imperialist faction's Militarist government demand should hopefully work. Also, I included a compatibility patch with littleraskol's government mod (who also created a compatibility patch so that my Templar Council government will work in her government and faction mods).

Thinking of several other government ideas. Nothing set in stone. Just brainstorming.

UPDATE: 5/9/2017

UGH!

After fighting with this, I finally got it to update to 1.6.0 of Stellaris! I'm very sorry (again!) for those who downloaded this mod before, but modding is a lot more headache than joy than I realized.

No this doesn't mean that I'm going to stop modding. It means that I'm going to be asking a lot of help from now on whenever I mod! Prior to this SNAFU, I tried to do a lot of it on my own. Boy was that a mistake.

Still I feel really bad for those who downloaded this before and have to resubscribe again.

Hopefully things won't be so bad the next time around when they update. I hope. >.<

UPDATE: 5/5/2017

Okay, fixed some bugs. Finally got VIR to greet you properly.

The only thing that might cause some incompatibility is the changes to the traditionalist_00.txt file as well as the imperialist_00.txt file, since I added some new stuff to it. Talking with several other mod authors about creating a compatibility mod. Still talking with them. Also, here is the new stuff added:

* Imperialists won't be as mad if you join a federation. They'll be annoyed, just not mad. ;)

* Imperialists get a new demand, in which they want a militarist government, and will be upset if there is any sort of civilian oversight of the military. So, military dictators can breath easily and sleep better. Everyone else....not so much.

Now for the future plans:

Still working on those, but I'm trying to decide on how to best create a society run by monks and nuns. Probably will be some sort of spiritualist pacifist...

UPDATE: 4/24/2017

Got some help from some great folks at the Paradox Stellaris forums! So the Templar Council's government intro should be working now. Still working on fixing it so VIR greets you correctly. Also, discovered another bug where the leaders of other empires call you President, instead of Archon/Archoness. Got to fix that as well. :(

EDITED: Sorry to whoever subscribed to this earlier. I'm still learning how to mod, and I couldn't get the updated mod up without creating a brand new mod on Workshop. So I apologize for the mistake.

This is pretty much a work in progress at the moment.

Reason for Mod: I wasn't happy that the game forced one of my pre-Banks/Utopia empires to be a Holy Tribunal when it was more like a Military Junta. So...what I did was combined the two together to create the Templar Council. Pretty much it is a Military Junta with some features of the Holy Tribunal.

Then, I thought: Maybe I should create more governments....

What has been changed: Well, the only things that I changed were the advisor event where VIR introduces himself. You should get the one used for Military Junta. I would like to have him say, "Blessings upon you Archon. I am VIR, a highly advanced artificial intelligence created in secret by the military and ordained by the priesthood." But since I can't this is the closest I can get to that greeting. Oh well!

Also, it adds the Templar Council to the government and english files. I don't speak any other language (my French and Latin are very rusty), so I apologize for being unable to translate this mod. :(

Compatibility: It should be compatible with pretty much anything, except for mods that do a utter and complete overhaul of the game. Now, please note I'm still learning how to mod, so you'll have to excuse me if there are any bugs or if it is not compatible with other mods.

I'm still testing it, so please don't bash me!

Also, I'm open to ideas.

Plans for future governments:

At the moment, I'm looking at other forms of government (thank you Wikipedia!). It might take me awhile, so please be patient.

Thank you and I hope you enjoy this mod!

Let me if there are any problems with it, so I can fix it as quickly as possible!

@ChaosVortex

It should already be updated for 1.8.

I do however, need to update it for 1.8.1, which I'll probably do sometime tonight. :)

@kerrigan1603

Hm....I'll look into that as well.

Should be a neat government.

Your welcome, and here's an another ideal, Corporatocracy.

@kerrigan Thank you! I appreciate those ideas. I know someone has already done constitutional monarcy, but I'll try and come up with something for Guided Democracy.

Constitutional Monarchy
Theocratic Republic (Iran)
Singapore-Style Democracy (Guided Democracy)
Oligarchic Republic (Republic Of Rome, Republic Of Carthage, America)
