Anyway, I think I'll stick to doing textures for random maps. Can you btw suggest a good program (free/ open source) to use?
With the default terrains this is no problem, as the dead farm terrain is mostly the same color as dirt, just with some different elements.
So creating dead farms that are not in line with dirt will 'break' those areas and make them looks strange. I myself started redoing the dead farms in all my terrain packs to fix this issue some time ago.
