Description
POLARIS SPACE INDUSTRIES PHM-4 "RHINO" hover miner

PHM-4 Rhino is powerful and rugged miner tested in the harsh conditions of Aitis. Six drills, your basic surival gear such as fridge, oxygen dispenser and some storage space - Rhino is a great vessel for long lasting mining trips.

Easy access from the sides or open top - now matter which way is up in the mining pit, you can easily embark and disembark.

Good handling, powerful thrusters and wide stable platform - Rhino is ready for all mining challenges!

GENERAL HOVER MINER TIPS TO GET STARTED:

-Always set the hover height to 3m (with space bar)
-Tilt the nose down and start the drills
-Go easy on the throttle before you get a hole started
-Backup and move sideways too to create more spacious mine so you don't get stuck
-Auto-rotate is your friend, use it a lot (O)

If getting started is still difficult, add couple of RCS for even better control.

Neat design. Do you have an approximation of how good the horizontal and vertical traverse is? (The traverse is the angle from any given surface to a flat one that your vehicle can stably travel across without falling.)
