Mouse sensitivity depends on mouse type and OS setting.

Turn off Mouse Acceleration
Mouse acceleration is not good for FPS.
However, mouse acceleration is turned on in the default Windows.
You had better turn off mouse acceleration.

1. Open "Control Panel"
Start Menu > Right Click


2. Click "Hardware and Sound"


3. Click "Mouse" on the Devices and Printers


4. Click "Pointer Options"


5. Uncheck the "Enhance pointer precision"

Mouse acceleration can almost certainly be Turn off.
However, it may not be turned off depending on the driver type.
Please test by all means.

1. Adjust the cursor to the left edge of the screen. And adjust the mouse to the placemark.
2. Move the mouse quickly to the right. (Be careful not to move the cursor to the right end of the screen at this time.)


3. Move the cursor slowly to the left edge of the screen.


When mouse acceleration is turned on, the mouse will arrive early.
It is best if the mouse and cursor arrive at the same time.
But what if the cursor arrived early?
This is a problem called "Negative acceleration".

Negative Acceleration is a state where the mouse's sensor is not catching up with the operation speed.
In many cases it will be improved if you use a good mouse pad.
If that does not improve, it is better to purchase a gaming mouse.
I will explain the details in part 3.

Sensitivity depends on the OS setting and DPI of the mouse.
In general it express by how many centimeters per 180 degrees rotation.

[MOUSE SENSITIVITY]


This is a Sensitivity of CS:GO Professional gamers.
The average is 25cm per 180 degrees.

But Insurgency has ADS(Aim Down Sight) mode.
Actually, lower is the best than that sensitivity.
My sensitivity is 23cm.


Lower sensitivity bring to more accurate shooting.
But too lower sensitivity makes bad results.


You have to turn at 90 degrees, when you do clearing.



[IRONSIGHT SENSITIVITY SCALE]
"IRONSIGHT SENSITIVITY SCALE" should be 1 or less.
Because the enemy is in the screen when you turn around.
My sensitivity is 0.73 (about 45 degree).

[SCOPE SENSITIVITY SCALE]
"SCOPE SENSITIVITY SCALE" differs depending on magnification.
I am adjusting to 7x scope.

[RAW IMPUT]
"RAW IMPUT" is direct input. It is ENABLE at the default. That is not a problem but I am turning it off because the setting value is low.
But Negative acceleration may occur in high DPI mouse.
In that case, you have to switch the mouse to a lower DPI.

[MOUSE ACCELERATION] DISABLE
This is the same as before.

Next, let's test the sensitivity in the Insurgency.
The way is the same. Use the objects in the map when playing the game.


The frame rate of the game also affects sensitivity.
