i noticed this in 5x change back in Version 2.3.1. on nexus site "Fighter bays are now given free with battle pods, but you have to choose between bombers and survival pods now. Previously there was little incentive to take fighter bays and heavy fighter bays when you got bombers for free." thou i used bothed this and 5x with no problems. Hope that helps

lack of survival pods glitch i haven't encountered. Thou checks this plus anthouer mod like 5x mod may create loop fix , however tech tree may glitch some dependent on number of tech tree mods or if ye using creative perk(psilon playing possible maybe). All Mituna tech mods including Remove tech choices may work with or without 5x mod may be a loop fix too. Gamble of the fates(just matter of test and trial). Also be sure to check when each mod been updated(old may not work well with new (can't teach old dog new tricks)

That said, lack of survival pods is not a huge problem most of the time, as most commanders only add moderate bonuses and so are expendable, while the rarer, more valuable commanders who give empire-wide bonuses to credits, command points, or research can be kept safe on ships far behind any likely war front. So, thumbs up!

This mod gives the player both "fighter bays" and "battle pods" when the "advanced construction" tech is researched, but has the unfortunate side effect of eliminating "survival pods" in the process.

Why wouldn't we want fughter bays?

what if i already researched the tech and chose one already, does it add the battle pod in along with it?
