Aug and 552 are both classified as assult rifles in R6, they are both well balanced weapons, there are people using both of them, they only have a few minor differeces

Aug (Armee-Universal-Gewehr), standard weapon of Austrian Army, categorized as an assult rifle in R6, fires 5.56x45mm ammunition.


552 Commando, a carbine manufactured by Swiss Arms AG, brother of 556xi (thermite's gun), categorized as an assult rifle in R6, also fires 5.56x45mm ammunition.

Aug: 44 damage + 770 fire rate + 40 mobility + 30/210 mag cap


552 Commando: 47 damage + 670 fire rate + 40 mobility + 30/210 mag cap


Hip fire test:


Aug has higher fire rate but 552 has higher damage, the mobility and mag size are same, I personally feel like Aug has more recoil than 552 (just my opinion)

Aug is a medium to long range assult rifle, 552 is more like a short to medium range carbine

When using Aug at long range, controlled burst fire is required, spray doesnt work out very well with Aug

When using 552 I like to use it as a short range weapon for indoor combat, the low fire rate makes it really easy to control its recoil

552 Commando: Holo/ACOG + compensator + vertical grop


these attachments suit my play style best, but yours doesnt have to be like mine
