By aulbryn
This is a Guide on the various TF2 Wildlife. There are so many to explore. This guide will be pretty long due to the diversity of nature in TF2. So tune in! *Please note that the articles are not organized by class or in any way for that matter.
*Also note that whenever I say Pee in any of the articles, I mean the word, P.i.s.s. (remove the periods).

Hoovybirds
Let's start our wildlife search with the most commonly known TF2 animal. THE HOOVYBIRD! What you need to become this animal is simply the Chicken Kiev. The Hoovybird is also known as a Pootis. These birds LOVE to give out sandviches and dance. So the next time you see one, welcome it. There are actually MANY types of Hoovybirds but i'm not gonna get into the sub-species of the TF2 animals.

Medicbirds
For this guide we're gonna start with my favorite animals, the birds. Now we move on to our next animal. THE MEDICBIRD! What you need to become this animal is simply just the Medimedes. Medicbirds are the Hoovybirds' best friend. These two Birdy Buddies work together very often. Once halloween or a Full Moon comes, you'll see these 2 Birds occasionally working together like brothers.

Demoparrots
Now we move on to the next animal. THE DEMOPARROT! What you need to become this animal, is the Mann-Bird of Aberdeen. These Demoparrots, LOVE to party, drink beer, do crazy things and repeat what you say! (In a way, sort of).

Soldiereagle
Now we move on to our next animal. (I told you this was gonna be a long guide). THE SOLDIEREAGLE! What you need to become this animal is the Freedom Feathers. This All-American fighter bird loves to party, but if he hears anyone killing friendlies, he begins his hunt!

Robo-Eagle
Now for our next animal. THE ROBO-EAGLE! You might be thinking, "Shouldn't it be named Robo-Soldiereagle?" It's not because Robo-Eagle is just a more befitting name for this animal. Not too long. Just fine. What you need to become this animal is the Battle Bird. These Metallic Mercenary Birds are much more hostile than their traditional counterparts, the Soldiereagles. This is because they have Tryhard-Trackers. (Tryhards are people who kill partying people and kill TF2 wildlife for no reason). They still love a good party but they were literally built to kill tryhards and protect the party.

Sniperowl
Now for our next animal. THE SNIPEROWL! What you need to become this animal is Sir Shootsalot. Sniperowls are friendly snipers that have an octopus-like defense mechanism of throwing Jarate at the enemy to very faintly blind them. The Jarate can also aid in their survival because when their Jarate is on the enemy, every hit they take is a mini-crit. (Except for falling, etc). These Sniperowls have a counterpart. They are called Pee Owls. Pee Owls are basically the same except they throw Jarate at everyone, and they tend to yell the phrase, "I'M A BLOODY PEE OWL!"

Chikon Scoot
Now we move on to our next animal and last bird. THE CHIKON SCOOT! What you need to become this animal is, The Nugget Noggin, The Fowl Fists, and the Talon Trotters. Otherwise known as, The Deep-Fried Dummy set. For weapons you will need, the Ham Shank, the Soda Popper, and the Bonk! Atomic Punch! or Mad Milk (very optional). These Chikon Scoots love to run around and lay eggs during wild dance parties. They use their strong wings, (The Ham Shank), to beat down tryhards that come into their territory. They also charge up their strong wings, (Soda Popper), the moment the spawn in so that they can have a flying escape handy when times get tough.

Scooty-Doo
Now we move on to our next animal. THE SCOOTY-DOO! What you need to become this animal is the Hound's Hood and the Terrier's Trousers. Otherwise known as the Boston Bulldog Set. Scooty-Doos are a mercenary's best friend. They can be tamed but you have to tame them yourselves. Scooty-Doos are always found wild and undomesticated. So if you want that dog you're gonna have to tame it before someone else does. They tend to run ahead and clear the path of enemies so their owners can walk unscathed. And if anyone attempts to kill or attack their owner they spring into action and ferociously attack and bark at the enemy.

Box Cow
Now we move on to our next animal. THE BOX COW! What you need to become this animal is the Box Trot taunt. These Box Cows are known for hiding in the front lines such as in control points to cause mischief such as blocking any capture while staying unseen. The box cows that do that are called, Battle Box Cows. Other Box Cows just roam around the grass doing nothing. They just roam around, peacefully, eating grass, and doing normal cow stuff. These Box Cows are called, Peaceful Box Cows.

Spycrab
Now onto our next animal. THE SPYCRAB You don't need anything to become a Spycrab other than the disguise kit. There are 2 ways to be a Spycrab, one better than the other. The first one, which is the worse one, is pulling out your disguise kit and repeatedly taunting with it until you get the Spycrab taunt.
This taunt is mostly used for gambling items or just competing for fun. The other way to be a Spycrab, the better way, is to pull out your disguise kit, crouch, look completely up, then move forward or backwards. Spycrabs are peaceful creatures. They're only peaceful because they're looking at the ceiling or the sky for every second and they dont carry a weapon. But when they are provoked they stop crabbing and start acting like a normal Spy until they kill the tryhard. Then they go back to being a Spycrab.

Medicwolf
Now we move on to the next animal. THE MEDICWOLF! What you need to become a Medicwolf is the Hundkopf. Medicwolves are friendly creatures, they love to party. But when tryhards come around they become very carnivorous. However, they still try to welcome them so that they might turn friendly. But it doesn't usually work.

Apeneer
Now for our next animal. THE APENEER! What you need to become this animal is the Grease Monkey. Apeneers are peaceful primates. They dont have fully evolved brains so they build in bad spots. They like to follow people on their team and friendlies and groom them by eating the flies and dirt off of their friends. Their favorite thing to do is build dispensers. They think that the dispensers are healing gods. When you see an Apeneer building a dispenser he'll most likely jump around and and kneel before it when he's finished. Apeneers are a proud developing race.

Hoovy Whale
Now for our next animal to explore. THE HOOVY WHALE! What you need to become a Hoovy Whale is simply the Sandvich. Hoovy Whales are peaceful aquatic hoovies bearing sandviches and living among the Pyrosharks. They are known for giving out their sandviches to wounded fish and sometimes just divers passing by.

Scoutranha
Now for our next animal exploration. THE SCOUTRANHA! What you need to become this animal is the Fan o' War. Scoutranhas are creatures that stay in packs. They are aquatic animals which are actually quite carnivorous. They are not so dangerous when they are alone because of the dullness of their teeth, (weakness of Fan o' War), but they are deadly when in groups. They are a very fast species so they can catch prey and swim away from danger very easily.

Democrab
Now for our next animal to explore. THE DEMOCRAB! To be this animal, you need a one-hand-held melee weapon and any shield, preferably the Tide Turner. And you need to always walk whilst crouching and looking up at the sky. Democrabs are peaceful creatures. Much like the Spycrab, it walks looking up at all times, only it has a weapon handy. They usually dont notice or care whatever's going on, but when they're provoked, they stand up and they beat the tryhard that disturbed then down to the ground. Other than that they are very peaceful.

Demotoad
Now we move on to our next animal. THE DEMOTOAD! To be these creatures you need to have any shield, most preferably the tide turner, and any one-hand-held melee weapon. It is most suggested that you crouch-walk whilst looking completely up at the sky. These creatures usually inhabit watery areas. They often waddle onto land, not caring anything about their surroundings. If they are provoked in any harmful way towards them they stand up and start to worry and care about what is happening. When they reach this stage, it is called, "The Escape Positional Stage". Then when they do that they immediately turn around and charge at a blinding speed back to the water and they make it very difficult for you to find them again. These animals are suspected to be
descendants of the Democrab.

Weredemo
Now onto our next animal. THE WEREDEMO! What you need to become this animal is the Hair of the Dog, the Scottish Snarl, and the Pickled Paws. Otherwise known as the Highland Hound set. Weredemos are only sighted on halloween, halloween-enabled servers, and days of the Full Moon. Weredemos are naturally aggresive to everyone except those who truly have the power of friendliness to persuade such a beast to dance. Weredemos tend to howl whenever they have beaten a worthy adversary in battle.
They like to sometimes stay in packs and spread out killing nearly everything in sight. These beasts are very territorial and offensive. But they almost never stray far from their pack buddies.

Pyroshark
Now for our next animal to explore. THE PYROSHARK! What you need to become this animal is, the Pyromancer's Mask, the Sight for Sore Eyes, the Tail From the Crypt (optional), and the Neon Annihilator. Pyrosharks are very well known throughout the TF2niverse. They are very infamous. They usually stay in watery areas such as 2Fort and Sawmill, usually in small to large packs. They are very territorial. They have almost no allies or anything. They are enemies with nearly every species including themselves. The only species they are completely allied and acquainted with are the Jellyneers. Other than that, they are all-hunter. They like to stay in packs of Pyroshark and when prey drops into the water they chase it and they swarm over it doing phenomenal amounts of damage together in little quantities of time. That is why they are so infamous.

Jellyneer
Now we move on to our third-to-last animal to explore. THE JELLYNEER! What you need to become this animal is to be underwater at almost all times, a dispenser handy for putting underwater, a Pomson 6000, and a Southern Hospitality. Jellyneers are friendly aquatic animals that dwell in deep water. They live in large groups of Jellyneers that, together, build a hive of Dispensers. When a Jellyneer is provoked, it will shoot toxic Jelly rays, (Pomson 6000), at the enemy. But since there is distortion from underwater to above water they usually miss. If an enemy comes near them they use their barbed stinging tentacles, (Southern Hospitality) to sting the enemy and make them bleed. But the bleeding won't really be any use since they are underwater. They are very close friends to the Pyroshark. They are also considered to be endangered.

Flyneer
Now we move on to our second-to-last animal. THE FLYNEER! What you need to become this animal is the Buzz Killer, the Frontier Flyboy, and the Legend of Bugfoot. Otherwise known as, the Brundle Bundle cosmetic. Flyneers are very friendly creatures. They love to dance and rancho. But they can get very gross and freaky when up close. And you don't want one attacking you. They start to fly around and inspect a player very closely when they get near them. So don't get too close to them if you're squeamish. But if you're a real party animal it won't matter!

Octoclasses
Now we move on to our last animal to explore. (I know, it's so sad). THE OCTOCLASS!
What you need to become this animal is the Dadliest Catch. Octoclasses form 9 very important sub-species. Each different sub-species is for a different class, since the Dadliest Catch is an all-class hat. Octoclasses are very passive aggressive. If they are provoked, they turn carnivorous. If they are welcomed, they turn friendly. If neither happens they just stay ambiguous. They show no signs of intelligence or interest in anything until they are approached. The sub-species, however range from friendliness in each class. But they all keep the same properties of amiguity. For instance. The OctoHoovy is the friendliest while the OctoSoldier and OctoPyro are the most carnivorous.

Thanks for Reading!
Thank you for reading this guide. I really appreciate it. I got much of my material from the Lazy Purple TF2-nimal Wiki, so, Kudos to them. A Contributor to this guide were my close friends, fluffyunicorn55, ★Tord★™, and Chikon Matt. They helped me on some subjects and reminded me to keep working on it. Also Kudos to the people posting sprays and pictures of TF2-nimals on google images. It really helped for me to put images into the guide to give a more visual learning expirience. I worked very hard on this guide and used a lot of time to gather this information. So I really hope you loved it. If you did love it, gimme a shout on my profile page or on the guide's comment section. Thanks reader!
