What You'll be Building
Den danske version af guiden er her.

This guide will create something that looks like the following:

Basically, a hole in the second story with railings up above, creating an "interior balcony."
Step 1
Create the first story of your base with any room type you desire, except OMCR. In this case, I used basic closed rooms. Add any OMCR rooms to the middle section, leaving at least two surrounding blocks alone. The more you leave empty on the outside, the larger balcony you will have. Use the regular build button.
Step 2
Add bridges using the "keep walls" button to those outside areas, leaving the corners alone.
Step 3
Create REGULAR rooms on the outside with the regular build button.
Step 4
Add either balconies or platforms to the corner spots using the regular build button.
Step 5
Create OMCRs using the regular build button on top of the floating area.
Step 6
Create any room that will force the walls of those middle OMCRs to go away using the regular build button on adjacent areas, excluding corners. In this case, I used platforms.
Step 7
Delete those tiles placed down to allow for an empty space. Using the regular build button, either create OMCRs or roof pieces on the exterior walls.
Step 8
Create OMCRs using the regular build button to fill in the space.
(Optional) Step 9
Add platforms or balconies to the top of the roof to make it look better.
Step 10
Of course, you're going to need to be able to get to the second level somehow, right? This can very simply be done with a staircase. Remove an exterior wall and build a staircase in it's place using the regular build button. It will remove any floors/ceilings blocking it if needed.
Results
Now you'll have an amazing, two story base with a hole in the second floor, giving a great, unique (unless this guide becomes popular) look to your build.
