I was popping around the community pages looking for a solution to why playing any of the van helsing titles crashes on my windows 10 pro 64 bit. I then stumbled upon this post by Krayzi.

So all you have to do is disable the Touch keyboard and handwriting panel service, most gamers will never need this service anyways. you don't have to reboot tho. set it to manual. you can get to services fast pressing Windows key + R or type in box 'services.msc or just hit start search services. You then only need to find "Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service" right click properties then set to disable(not manual, I think it may come back on if you do) and apply. to apply without a reboot just right click and stop service. you dont need to worry about any other touch services afaik.

if it crashes even after u do this be sure to look again at services to double check and make sure before giving up, some how mine came back on, i think because at first i set to manual.
