Description
This is an integrated anti-armor Gravity Cannon, derived from the Avalon Battleship and Beluga Dreadnought to provide any vessel with accurate, long-range, superior firepower against heavily armored targets with a variety of ammunition to suit the job. The GPC is survival-ready and requires only a copy/paste or projected installation and assembly to function.

For Worlds using different Welding/Grinding multipliers, adjust the countdown in the "Shell Assembly Timers" group as you see fit.

Instructions

Pick one of the "GPC - Load" groups and hit "Trigger Now". In about 30 seconds (Depending on what you have set the Assembly Timers countdown to) the GPC Shell will assemble and the Firing Timer will turn on (Ideally this would be routed through buttons on a console, or on your hotbar in the cockpit rather than directly using the Groups in the ship's menu). Fire the round, and the cannon will automatically reset so another shell can be loaded.

Should you need to unload the cannon at any point, trigger the Disassemble group and it'll automatically start grinding down the shell (turning off Tool Shake in your World's settings is very much advised). Triggering this will also automatically reset the cannon for loading once the undesired round is purged.

If the shell does not fire and instead floats in the barrel chamber, check the programming block. If it is throwing an error, just click edit and re-save to clear the error and try a building a shell again once the Chamber's clear.

Ammo Types

Armor Piercing - The typical oversized conical bullet. Will destroy between 3-5 layers of Heavy Armor, and embed the remains inside the target.

Explosive - A light-armor tip contains a Warhead and a Small Cargo Container. Fill it with Explosives via the active Connector, and the warhead will trigger them on-impact for a nice big boom.

Decoy - A stealthy black shell loaded with multiple Decoy Blocks. Fire it off to draw fire and move in for the kill.

Cargo Pod - A technically non-lethal Shell designed to send cargo across long distances. Set the timer for the expected flight time at the usual 104 m/s and thrusters will activate at the end.

Heavy Mass - A big fat chunk of armor with a longer build time than the Armor-Piercing Shell. Hits and goes THUD through the hull, then tears itself some more out as it sits embedded in the target.

If you have trouble with the Shell's merge block disconnecting on-construction, set the cannon's merge block to "Share All".
