- If you are experiencing some very long and stuttering loadings, you probably have a graphical issue.
- If you are experiencing lags ingame, this fix may also work.

Tomb Raider Underworld offers a lot of configurations that you can either disable or unable via ingame. If you already tried all the possibilities ingame then you'll have to go for hidden configurations.

------FIX IT------

Go in your registry. (Execute command : "regedit")
Go on this location : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Crystal Dynamics\Tomb Raider: Underworld\Graphics
There are 2 interesting values there : "DontDeferShaderCreation" and "DisableDynamicTextures".
Change their values to "0".

If you don't know how to do, I uploaded a registry file that will do it for you.

*It seems that it happens a lot on ATI video cards.

@Valeran, funny, but it seems to work. Thanks! I think AMD should stop automatically setting profiles for games. Not all of them work correctly. I have a similar problem with classic AC games. Maybe you should try this option

Hi, I know fix for AMD cards
you should download gog exe of tomb raider underworld and rename tru.exe it to DXHR.EXE

After that amd radeon drivers will be load deus ex human revolution profile and surprisingly It fix all stutters on amd cards

Doesn't work.There's still some major stutter (sudden frametime spikes).

Hello. I cant contact developers it seems. I need a controller cuz this is hard. Even with you tube cheat. It took forever to get to Thailand up by tigers& fell off died & is on medium cuz could not pick easy I think. Maybe it was other TR, but I doubt it. I got to the tigers & it is not saving. Ugh. I know by the game is a check point & all cinematic. So glitchy. This is taking me insane hrs over and over the cliffs, etc. After killed the tigers it was hard to grip jump the pillar wall. I dont know what keys & sometimes it gets all messed up in the game too for some reason. I cant find help wo hope you can tell me what I need to push, lol

Fixed now. I realized that I updated windows before it happened, so I tried doing a system restore. Voila! All my games are fine now. I just don't know what specifically caused it. Must've been the updated drivers. IDK.
