A tramp cannon is just so damn good and helps with winning. So let's see how we can build a good one in 30 seconds.

• The optimal number of trampolines is 4. More than 4 usually don't add much range, but 3 or less let people fly substantially less.
  
• If you build too high, trampoline jumpers will die from falling damage

There are two types of tramp cannons. Horizontal and 45 degree cannons. (I) and (II) are horizontal, whereas (III) is the 45 degree cannon we gonna build.


When I started with KAG, I mostly build horizontal tramp cannons, but they have a number of disadvantages.

1. A horizontal tramp cannon is harder to build and takes longer.
2. It's more exposed and can easily be destroyed by bomb arrows or by archers who invade your base. Compare this with (III), where you simply jump over your bad-ass wall of death.
3. You need to build high first.
4. Layout (II) is sometimes buggy and you cannot use it for some reason.
5. Layout (I) is the noob's version and takes forever to build and takes too much space.

You need at least 900 wood and up to 100 stone. 4x150 for the trampolines + 200 for a worker's hut + a few wooden ladders.

Start with a box that has a little staircase in it. If you can, make the foundation out of stone, because wood can be destroyed too easily.


Next, make a builder's hut right next to it. You don't want to waste time running around:

Then simply toss 4 trampolines down the staircase. The trick is to have your cursor a bit away from your player to "throw" the trampoline. It'll then slide down the staircase and stop at the wall. See where my cursor is in this GIF:

This is important for smooth operation. Fix things and align the trampolines. See how they don't line up in this image:


It's easy if you know how to do it. You always pick up the trampoline closest to you and your cursor. I kind of do it intuitively now, but just play a bit with it. So what do you do to pick up the upper trampoline to fix it? You jump over it, point your mouse down and press C to pick up. Then you toss it again. Sometimes, this requires two or three attempts, because the pickup priority in KAG can be weird at times:

Just press F and spam the unfold icons by rapidly clicking on them. This is the best way to unfold all 4 of them properly.

Sometimes, other players mess with your tramps and unfold only one of them while you still build. This can be very annoying. If this happens to you, just roll them back up. If this doesn't work, press pick up. You can only pick up trampolines that are still folded. Pick them up, fold the others, try again.

Before you use it:

ALWAYS DESTROY THE BUILDER'S HUT. This is important. You don't want some enemy archer come to your base, switch to builder and screw everything up.
