Pocket Civ

Description
Pocket Civ was originally designed as a print and play civilization experience for 1 to 2 players. (This module is optimized for solo play however)

Game setup can be random, or you can play through the predesigned scenarios.

Using tribes to expand your civilization, create cities, buy advances, build wonders and go on expeditions, while preparing for the devastation that random events will bring. Only with careful planning and a little luck will your empire stand the test of time.

Pocket Civ was designed by Scott Slomiany.
The thumbnail image was designed by Rudolf Aligierski.
The cards were redesigned by Todd Sanders.

Hi @Psyrek,
it seems the tiles are still not fixed.
Here is my fix:
http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=741920212

There is a link to a zip-file with the OBJ files and textures for the fix, if you like to fix your mod with my files. When you fix your mod i will take my fix-mod down. It's better to have everything at one place. :)

[Update]
-Added compound colliders to map tiles, they should cooperate now
-Added new object for the tribe members
-Modified background image
-Changed the dice to counters

@Kosake
After looking at the scenario cards, scenario 10 is meant to be 2 cards. The scenario cards have information written on the back of the cards. The reason the tiles were not working was due to a change in the way colliders worked in TTS, I forgot to make that change here. Thank you very much for your feedback, let me know if you encounter any other problems.

It's been a long time since I've visited this mod. It worked as intended at an earlier time, I'll take a look and see if I can update it to work with the new changes to TTS

Hello Psyrek,
first off thanks for making this mod.

I encountered two issues.
1. There are two "scenario 10" cards in the scenario deck, except that one card is blank. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be that way as I'm just about to learn this game.
2. The hex tiles do not align if you try to place them in the hex grid. If you try to place two adjacent tiles one ends up always slanted without touching the other tile. The hit boxes of the tiles seem to big I think.

Yeah. I'm on a binge for print 'n play games right now. So I'm coming across some neat concepts, including this one of course.

for what it was designed for. playing a solitaire civ-like game with just pen and paper without dice while in a plane, or waiting for a plane, this is a neat cute concept.

wanted someones selfmade game, and the rules tell a lot about came design choices for a limited use of the game. that alone is interesting enough.

@ollj It plays considerably different than the other civilization game and it's solo variant. They are fun in their own ways IMHO.

first impression: looks a lot like Civilization (2010) and someones solo variant for that other game is easily a better alternative to this one. http://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/79752/civilization-solo-rules-v04
