But yeah Wet and Cold is amazing too, forgot to recommend that, and Cloaks of Skyrim/Winter is Coming also, used them both.

I recommend also getting the mods Wet and Cold plus Cloaks of Skyrim and/or Winter is Coming. They all complement Frostfall well.

Frostfall is great, I totally second it. I don't find the effects annoying at all (though I do have to turn it off sometimes if there's a lot of scripted stuff going on because it can't keep up, i.e. the final fight in Dawnguard).
