Introduction
Hello and welcome to the guide on how you can obtain the various branching pathways found within Neverending Nightmares! Obviously you already knew that by reading the title but I just wanted to clarify something. As this guide deals with some later levels within the game, it should be expected that there may be some spoilers in regards to the imagery and set pieces found within the game. I shall try to keep it to relatively minor spoilers as best I can, however in some instances it may be unavoidable due to guidance instructions. So without further ado, let us begin!
Insanity -> Childish Things

Both branches from "Insanity" can be found right at the end of the level. Follow the linear path forward once you begin this level, eventually you will wake up in a psychiatrist office and have a talk with Gabby.

Once you have done this continue following the linear path until you eventually reach the exit door. When you exit you shall be greeted with a large open area that is dimly lit. From here in order to reach the "Childish Things" pathway you must go forwards into the black void (As shown in the screenshot below).

A few steps forward and you'll start to teeter on the edge of the cliff. Continue pushing forward for a second or two until you fall off the edge, where you will then wake up to the "Childish Things" level.
Childish Things -> Wayward Dreamer

This pathway is a little more complicated than the others as it's not a single choice that triggers this instance, it's a certain set of directions that lead towards the eventual branch.

Once the level begins you take control of a young Thomas in the family home. Eventually you will wake up into a forest, it's from here where the choice of which branch is followed begins.

In order to lead yourself onto the "Wayward Dreamer" branch, you must simply follow Lil' Gabby on 2 out of 3 pathways that she chooses. This means that in every instance where there is a split in the forest paths, you must pick the one that leads to Lil' Gabby. Whilst this may seem difficult to do at first (Given that you don't see which path she takes) there is an easy way to make sure that you always follow her on the correct path. The game only considers a path taken when you follow it all the way until the screen changes. So when you find a split in the footpath simply try one of them. At the beginning of the path/screen change if you don't see Lil' Gabby there saying something to you then running off, backtrack to that fork in the road and choose the opposite path.

For a simple guide however on the correct path choices to take then they are as follows:
Up, Down, Down, Up, Down (Around the large tomb once you enter the cemetery) and Down after you exit the cemetery

You will know if you have completed the branch conditions correctly if you see Lil' Gabby as a corpse at the end instead of regular Gabby.
Childish Things -> Destroyed Dreams

Similar to the previous pathway, this one requires you to follow a set of directions in order for it to be triggered rather than it being a singular choice.

Once the level begins you take control of a young Thomas in the family home. Eventually you will wake up into a forest, it's from here where the choice of which branch is followed begins.

In order to lead yourself onto the "Destroyed Dreams" pathway, you must go against Lil' Gabby's orders to follow her. This means going on almost every path that doesn't have Lil' Gabby on it leading up to the cemetery. There is a method you can use in order to safely assure that you are on the right track. Once there is a fork in the road at any point of the forest, simply try going down one path. If that path leads to the next screen and Lil' Gabby is there telling you to follow her, turn around, go back to the fork in the road and choose the other path.

Keep in mind however when you take the first path choice to ignore Gabby, after about one screen of nothing she will then spawn again telling you to follow her. Do not backtrack as this is supposed to happen. Basically by not following her, you are extending the time spent away from her. So there is always supposed to be a break in between seeing her.
It goes like this: Lil' Gabby -> Path with nothing -> Lil' Gabby -> Path with nothing
Where as the opposite branch is more like: Lil' Gabby -> Lil' Gabby -> Lil' Gabby

For a simple guide however on the correct path choices to take then they are as follows:
Up, Down, Up, Down, Down (Around the large tomb once you enter the cemetery) and Up after you exit the cemetery

If done correctly you should should Gabby's adult corpse instead of a Lil' Gabby corpse
Insanity -> Together At Last

From here in order to reach the "Together At Last" pathway you must go back into the door that you just exited from (As shown in the screenshot below).

Once you enter back into the Asylum, a cutscene will play and you will be within "Together At Last".
Together At Last -> Final Descent

Once you begin this level you are forced to navigate the home with nothing but your lowly candle to guide the way. This branching pathway is simple to complete and is the most common branch that first time players can expect to encounter.

Simply navigate the house as normal until you reach the final corridor where your candle flame becomes extinguished. From here simply navigate forwards to the end of the corridor (whilst enduring some particularly disturbing imagery!) until you happen to meet a familar face.

Together At Last -> Destroyed Dreams

Of the two branching paths that can be found within "Together At Last", this is the more cryptic one as it requires you to be paying attention during a certain section of the level.

Much like the previous branching pathway, this one requires for you to get all the way to the final hallway where your candle flame is extinguished. However amidst the darkness you encounter some disturbing imagery. Once two sets of disturbing imagery have occured, pay close attention for the next flash of light that happens within this long hallway. Once the flash has occured you will see a vision involving Gabby, within this scene you should see a door.

This door can be opened and is what leads to the "Destroyed Dreams" pathway. Once you enter the door, you should stumble into this room.

Simply walk forward into the hole in front of you and then you should wake up in the "Destroyed Dreams" level.
Conclusion
I hope that this guide has helped you achieve some of the various pathways that can be found within Neverending Nightmares. If you have any questions on certain sections then feel free to ask within the comments, otherwise I hope you all have a lovely day! :)

If anyone is still having trouble with the straitjacket enemy that needs to be distracted by glass, step on the glass and keep moving up and around him. Don't stop. He will be distracted by the sound of the glass and will not attack you, so long as you go up and around.
