This is the first build of my attempt to recreate as many WH40k ships as I can. Please leave comments to help me figure out what im missing or what I should add for this ship and my future builds.

The Imperial Cobra-class Destroyer is a quick and versatile torpedo boat that makes up a significant portion of the Imperial Navy's Battlefleet Obscurus. The Cobra is a valuable addition to any combat fleet, as its torpedoes allow it to be a threat to larger capital ships. However, the Cobra's greatest asset is its speed and maneuverability, enabling it to catch the small, fast vessels favoured by pirates.

The Ship is quite fast (acceleration at about 4m/sec) and maneuverable
Armament:
4 Torperdo Launchers mounted on prow Driver controlled
8 Missle Turrets
9 Heavy Guns per side (6 in forward battery and 3 aft battery) Total: 18 Heavy Guns
1 Dual Cannon for close range ship to ship defense
19 gatling guns for point defense and enemy fighters (concentration on front top deck since ship favors quick attack hit and run
Heavy Cannon and the 4 Gun Batteries are player controlled
-Forward batteries accessed through back of cocpit on lover gun deck before heading to comm room in prow
-aft batteries are accessed by the hallways on either side of hanger
-Forward top deck gun is accessed by cockpit on the turret itself.
Note: Hull mounted batteries dont rotate and are locked into place, front turret rotates on the horizontal plane
I would have liked to include atleast a vertial plane roation for all hull mounted guns but that would require a large amount of crew to operate the ship about now all you need is 6 to operate all of the weapon systems and problems with damaging the ship while underway.

I will be testing ways to make gun have a verticle rotation, I have a few ideas.

3 Tier Bridge ( T1 Ship/Power/Ship Comm Control; T2 Navigation; T3 Command Pulpit)
2 Hanger bays for shuttles or several fighters
Medbay
Crew Bay
Mess Hall
Communications Room Front Prow
Combat Information Center (CIC) Mid Tower
2 Senior Officer Room
1 Captains Room
2 State Rooms
Enginarium
Reinforced Prow for emergency ramming

UPDATE 1.1:
Missle Turrets added
Expanded Crew Bay
Added Brig (behind crew quarters)
Added several interior turrets for defense
Added Sancum/strategem behind the bridge (armored bunker during combat for senior crew and captain to plan/ safe room if bridge is attacked, can lock out the rest of the bridge and offers protection through several turrets outside to deter boarders)

Lol a destroyer vs a light cruiser? I think its a no brainer who would win 1 vs 1. but if a squadron vs light cruiser that would be a tough call.

you should try to pit you ships against each other and see if they are orthentic :)
