This scenario covers the Norman invasion on Ireland in the year 1170. Lead the British army over the sea to put down an rebellion and follow the course of history or go your own way and overthrow your king and start a revolt yourself.

- SPOILER ALERT -
(Only read if you're stuck or played through the whole scenario at least one time)

Conquer Ireland:
- Many people won't speak with Richard De Clare but with Aoife.
- Aoife can die without resulting in a loss but you should keep her alive as she is the important for communication with the Irish.
- You cannot hit imperial age but you will be able to get access to important imperial technologies.

Conquer England:
- Search for the Scottish messenger in the forest, you need to find a very narrow path in order to do so.
- It is not recommended to kill Henry's soldiers because if he is dead, his remaining soldier will change sides.
- You do not know where to go after the assassination? Go to the locked gate north of your castle.
- Exploration is key in this scenario but be careful as your actions can make you lose the goodwill of the population. You have to decide between the way of the people's hero and liberator or the looting warlord as the people won't like scottish soldier ramble through their land.
- Only start the assault on York if all your troop are positioned near the gate to join battle quickly.
