The Beginning
Hi everyone, this tutorial will show you how you can practice your nades spots easily in offline or on a server.

  • Fisrt of all, you have to actived your console.

  • Secondly, play offline with bots in occasional or competitive, choose your map and put "No bots"

Server Configuration
The second part starts when you have loaded the map

  • Put into the console the followings commands :

    sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_dash 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_thickness 1; mp_roundtime 60;mp_roundtime_defuse 60;mp_restartgame 1

  • Buy smoke, gss, nade and enjoy ! You have infinite ammo so you can throw unlimited nades

When you throw a nade, you will see a trail behind it

Additionals commands
These commands are not obligatory but can be found very useful. Type this command into the console.
  • The grenade trajectory time view command :                type sv_grenade_trajectory_time "sec"

It changes the time it takes for the trail to disappear.

With a big time, you have more time for seing the trajectory of the nade.
    ______________________________________________________________________________

  • The trail thickness command :                type sv_grenade_trajectory_thickness "number"

It changes the thickness of the trail. Originally it's "0.2" but I advise you to put "1"

With thickness put on 1, you will see more easily where nades are going. Also it offers a best visibility by far.
Others tips
These commands can help you very a lot !
  • The noclip and god commands :
    noclip; god

noclip is used to pass through the walls in order to have a realy good view on the nade spot and an idea about his trajectory.
god is here for don't take damages when you use nade and the noclip command.

-- Personnaly, I bind the noclip command. It means then for on/off the noclip I have just to press a key. How I did ? Just type in your console:

    bind "key" "noclip"

Noclip is available just on "sv_cheats 1" server. If you want get out the noclip key, type

    unbind "key"

Automation with a .cfg or autoexec
This section will show you how you can automate the system in order to go faster. It's what asked Mordax

  • First of all you have to use a cfg file :

If you are lazy, you can download mine at the end of this section ;-)

If you don't know what is a .cfg file in counter strike I will explain it: inside a cfg file, there is a list of commands whose will be executed by the game. For example, when you start the game, it is a cfg file that will define the actions attached to your keys: it's config.cfg

  • Okey now let's create our spotnade.cfg (you can change the name)

      Open your directory
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg

Inside there are a lot of .cfg files. Open one with the notepad or the Notepad++[notepad-plus-plus.org] software (this last is very better)

Me I opened config.cfg with Notepad++[notepad-plus-plus.org], if you open the file with the windows's notepad all commands will be the one after the other but it's not a problem for the continuation.

  • Now copy a .cfg file and paste it in the same directory. Rename the new in spotnade.cfg (you can change the name). open it and delete all content. Paste into the new the command we saw previously:

    sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; give weapon_smokegrenade; give weapon_hegrenade; give weapon_flashbang; give weapon_flashbang; god; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_thickness 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_dash 1

Save the file and start CS:GO

  • When you are on CS:GO, open your console and type
    exec spotnade

If you changed the name of the cfg file, type exec "yourname"

  • My personal spotnade.cfg file : {LINK REMOVED}

    Place the file in:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg
The End
Now you know how to train you in throwing nades in CS:GO.

Thanks for reading my guide, don't forget to rate and leave a comment if you have any questions,

I also made a guide which show you some smoke that you can throw form the spawn

Don't forget to rate, and maybe add to your favorite if you enjoyed this guide and want to remember of the commands.
