Introduction
When launching CS:GO from within Steam, do you see this image:




and this image:



Removing these images from loading from the launch options will allow CS:GO to launch about 10 seconds faster.
Launch Options
To set your launch options, follow the steps below:

  • Step 1 - Launch Steam and right click on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and click "Properties"



  • Step 2 - Click the 'Launch Options' Button



  • Step 3 - In the box type "-novid" without the quotes and click 'OK'




  • Step 4 - Close the Properties Window and launch CS:GO from Steam


  • Step 5 - Enjoy the quicker load time !! :)

I love your guides. Great job. They focus on the small things like planting/defusing but without them you can't win. :) Keep up :csgostar::csgostar::csgostar::csgostar::csgostar:

Also mashing spacebar skips the loading files incase you dont know how to remove it (i dont understand how you WOULDNT know how to remove it but yknow)

I agree, you can press ESC / Spacebar etc etc to exit, but the game is still taking the time to load and display the intro video. If you set the -novid, it will launch faster than having to hit a button 'after' it loads :)
