CH-47 Chinook Mk.III - Army

Description
The CH-47 is an American tandem-rotor, heavy-lift helicopter typically used as versatile workhorse used for transporting both people and large amounts of cargo. Capable of transporting 20 passengers or crated cargo internally, the CH-47 is an excelent choice for retrieving supply drops, raiding bases, or moving around a planet. With a towing package installed, you can transport and/or recover vehicles, cargo, scrap, and much more.

Changes from the Mk.II include upgraded avionics, a new flight control system, better paint scheme, and reduced Mod requirements in the form of vanilla hinges, glass, and flight seats. You can also leave out the passenger seat mod and use vanilla seats if desired, although you wont be able to seat quite as many people.

So whether you are delivering your squad to the battlefield, salvaging damaged vehicles, or you just feel like making off with your friend's prized starfighter, the CH-47 "Chinook" Mk.III is reliability you can count on.

Powered by 20+ small reactors which are all piped to an easily accessed fuel port in the main cabin. The CH-47 sports an integrated backup battery above the cockpit which is capable of hovering the helo if you want to admin-spawn it into a survival world, but be sure that you fill the reactors to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Side doors are easy enough to build out of blast door blocks, and a projector-ready blueprint of the tailramp is available on my workshop! Just weld up the hinge on the main blueprint and stick a projector directly on it. As an added bonus, the build projector then doubles as an integrated repair projector for the tail ramp.

@alice_muse92 Yeah that was actually me as i was trying to cut and shut your mk2 nook, i'll give up the ghost on a Merlin, any chance you think you could pull of a CH-53?

@catsfavor, not currently but I could post it I guess. Currently dealing with some stuff IRL though so it might be a couple days. :)

@Wolf_fang (NSDQ), someone else asked me that a while back, and I checked into it. The Merlin is a bit too small to get a good level of detail. (At least with my skill level anyway) I think it'd end up looking more like a CH-53 Super Stallion.
