Easy Omega Weapon fight.
By RageArmor
as those who have played Final Fantasy 8 before, knows. Omega weapon will level up with you and if you go into the fight with a lvl 100 person on your team you will have to plow through 2 million health.

Preparation
Items you want before the fight:
100 Pulse ammo (best gotten on disc 3 from a fixed fight in Ester City, refined from energy crystal)
atleast 10 holy wars (easily gotten from refining the gilgamesh card)

characters:
Squall, the lionheart weapon
Irvine, any weapon
Zell, any weapon

spells:
Meltdown (if doing this without max leveled characters meltdown will drop the enemies Vit stat to 0 making you deal more damage.)

just before fight:
kill each of your team mates seperately and bring them back with just a regular phenix down so they are in critical health.
The fight
Start of the fight:
Have zell start off by useing a holy war which will make your party invincible, while having irvine use his limit with the pulse ammo, and Squall use his limit in hopes that he uses the lion heart.

mid fight:
in the middle of the fight after you get omega weapons health down to about 3/4th he will start useing an attack called terra flare so make sure you use another holy war before that happens because unless someone is defending it is an insta kill.

strat:
just spam the limit's and if needed have zell reuse the holy war so you dont have to heal. you should eventually be able to kill omega weapon before the third holy war wears off.

1) summon Eden
2) use the 2- years long animation to find "The End"

Once, long ago, I defeated Omega Weapon using Selphie's "Slot" limit break. One of her special spells is called "The End", and it's an instant kill on all enemies. While "Rapture" doesn't work on boss monsters, "The End" certainly does work on Omega Weapon. It's just very tricky to get that one to appear - there's a bit of luck involved, and you need her to get her strongest limit - possibly by killing off at least one of the party and inflicting her with Blind or something. The really tough part is keeping Omega busy while you rummage through her spells!

Much more simple solution for this: Rinoa and Invincible Moon. You just may get fortunate enough to fire it off at the very beginning of the battle for the LV5 Death to be useless against you. Best way to get it to fire off is to NOT train Angelo in any of the other optional skills so it only has Angelo Cannon as an alternative besides the Angelo Rush auto-attack.

As for my party, I always use Squall, Rinoa, and Selphie. Selphie for the simple reason of her Full-Cure whenever I really need it.

yes but if that was the case i would advise bringing a few more holy war items just incase.

Would this still work if all my other guys were an extremely low level and Squall was Level 100?

*facepalm* thats the one i am talking about. the first weapon you fight is the Ultima Weapon, which is an easy fight even without cheap shotting it to death.
