Description
I think this is a difficult puzzle, but I've played it so many times while testing now that I don't really know. There are a few techniques I used here that I haven't really seen in other puzzles so I'm not sure how many people are acquainted with them. I just recently started playing community chambers, though, so I may just not have come across them.

As far as I know there are no ways to get stuck in this puzzle. There is a pretty strict progression, though, and you may find that you have to redo some elements, but you should never have to restart.

No box stacking or fast action required. Simply portals and some cubes...and some lasers.

NOTE: You will come across a seemingly random angled glass panel. This is there solely to keep your safety cube from rolling away.

Please leave a comment to let me know what you think or if I need to improve on anything.

So, here I am 10 years later and I don't remember the intended solution...I know there was some trickery with reflecting the lasers through portals at an angle. But, nice job on finding an alternate solution!

I finally tripped over the solution, much as MAD Fool did it. The solution was interesting.

Thanks for the reply! This is why I went ahead and published the puzzle. I spent a lot of time designing and testing this puzzle and became a bit burnt out. I needed some extra eyes to spot some things I may have missed.

And I'm a bit embarrassed because I totally overlooked the thought of solving it with only the two cubes. I'll try and work on some fixes later tonight.

I think I am missing something. I am able to solve the puzzle but I can do it without having to get neither the sphere nor the 3rd cube. All I have to do is use the 1st cube to activate the stairs-- get the 2nd cube and line it up with the middle laser so that it across form the moving panel and point the cube to the receiver. This will cause the panel and tractor beams to oscillate so that the laser fields are disabled. Then I use the 1st with the floor laser and a portal on the wall and floor to angle the laser to the exit receiver. I can also point the 1st cube to the flip panel receiver and use the oscillating laser to get out. (This sometimes works and sometimes not.) If I get the 3rd cube I can cube stack to get the far upper laser to the exit receiver. But then I don't need the oscillating laser.
