Intro
So, I saw there was a guide on how to host a game by port forwarding or opening the ports. Well, Say you don't want to do that. More than likely you have heard of Hamachi through Minecraft for example. This is going to a easy, simple guide because in all honesty, it not that hard.
What is Hamachi?
Hamachi is intended as a zero-configuration virtual private network (VPN) application that is capable of establishing direct links between computers that are behind NAT firewalls without requiring reconfiguration (when the user's PC can be accessed directly without relays from the Internet/WAN side); in other words, it establishes a connection over the Internet that emulates the connection that would exist if the computers were connected over a local area network.

In a nutshell, it lets people connect to you that you have in a "network" that you have either created or have access to.
Downloading Hamachi.
So first off, everyone that to want to have join you will need Hamachi.
You can download it here:CLICK ME![secure.logmein.com]
(The website also goes over some of the features of Hamachi, And probably does better explaining than I do anyway.)
When you are there, Make sure you click the try for free... Unless you wan to spend money... You will need to create an account before you can download it, this lets to manage networks that you create.

Once you have it downloaded You should be prompt for setting up the network. It depends on who you are, you can set it as work, not public, but Home should be fine.

Now that you have it downloaded and installed You should see something like this.

It will automatically generate 2 Virtual IPs for you. (One IPv4, One IPv6)
(NOTE: They do tend to change over time.)
Hosting
So, If you are the host, you will need to first create a network. Your Hamachi should be empty with no networks unlike the example I showed with 3.

To create a network, go to the Network tab and click "Create a New Network"

You should now get a screen like this:

Name your network and set a password, If you already scared of open a port, might as well password protect the Network too. Remeber, If someone else wants to join, that have to know both the Name and Password to join. (Plus, when logged in on the website for your networks, you can set them to where you have to manually allow people in, I will not be going over how to do that though.)

Once you have you network created you should be good to go!
(Free networks only allow 5 people per network including the host, I don't not know if there is a limit to how many networks one can make though.)

Launch up RoR and start up under Online Co-op game.

Now, when you host, It will STILL think you are using your actual IP, So ignore that.
You also will notice that your Port for 11100 will still be closed. Thats because you didn't open it! Ignore that too! Because you don't have to!

Just click "Host" and you are Set.
Joining
So, You are the Friend or the partner in this adventure. So you will need to join a network.
Like hosting, Go to to the Network Tab, then Click "Join an Exisiting Network"
You should be given a screen like this:

Ask the network creator (More than likely your friend or the host) for the login.

Now you are in! Woo! Now launch up RoR and lets get started.

Now to join the host, you will have to enter in the IP that HAMACHI has assigned to them. This located next to their Name in the drop-down list.

Once you have it typed in, you are set to go!
Troubleshooting
W I P (This isn't the Best Troubleshoot or Guide, I know. I'll try to add more to it later.)

So, Having problems eh?

Well, I can help you with the Hamachi related problems, if you get an error log from the game, I don't know.

Connection
- Check the colored dot next to the host and other users, If you see anything but green there is a problem

*Green - It's Fine don't worry about it, You are connected just fine.
*Blue - Relay, you won't connect, Usually if you restart hamachi, boot it, it should fix it hopefully. If not, Ask Mr. Google.
*Red - Blocked, In a nutshell Your not going to connect. Same as Relay, Restart Hamachi, Reboot it, Check connections. Ask Mr. Google

NOTE:
RoR will not, I repeat WILL NOT use the hamachi IP. The game is programmed to show your computer's IP.

Fixing:
* Make sure everyone has hamachi up and running.
* Check your connections, Make sure hamachi isn't behind a firewall or if the tunnels are blocked/relayed.
* Launch the game check to see if it works, if not, try switch hosts. If you can't connect but someone else can, it very well might be your connection.
* Reboot Hamachi, (Press the power button) and let it redo it's thing.
* Restart Hamachi, Close it and reopen.
* Restart the computer... I know. But it tends to fix things.

Blocked by Firewall
1. Goto Start
2. Control Panel
3. Find Windows Firewall
4. Do Allow Program or Feature
5. Scroll and find Risk of Rain.
6. Allow it as BOTH Home/Private and Public
7. Try hosting again.

Kudos to HALFsecondHERO for find a possible fix.

Can't Launch Hamachi
1. Press the Windows key and the [R] key on the keyboard. (Or just launch "Run")
2. In the run box type services.msc, and press [Enter].
3. Look for the LogMeIn Hamachi Tunneling Engine.

If the engine is in any of the following states:

* Started
* Starting
* Stopping

Then try restarting either the service, or the entire computer.

Good guide. To join you use the IP at the top of your hamachi client. It will say numbers separated by dots, then have a slash with more numbers and letters with colons. then underneath will be your pc/laptop name. THIS is the IP you use. NOT the server IP next to your friends name.
