[DEPRECATED] Martyrs lose Combat Strength

Description
DEPRECATED
I'm no longer maintaining this mod and likely won't even respond to comments here. This game option (and many more) is maintained in my flagship mod: DB's Civ VI Gold. Unsubscribe to this and subscribe to that.

DESCRIPTION
Apostles with a Martyr promotion lose 100 combat strength (110 --> 10; spread strength does not change). They still create a relic upon death.

This is because when you get a Martyr promotion it can be a struggle to actually kill off the Apostle to gain the rhetoric. With this mod, they have one foot in the grave.

NOTE
I currently don't play with this enabled.

Just a quick note to say that this mod is now deprecated but the idea lives on as a Game Option in DB's Civ VI Gold .

@alejandrogomez4444 @ circeus @Linarielle The work for the Mont Saint Mitchell problem can be solved by using the mod : [Wondrous wonders (gatheing storm) ] has a building that allows apostles to have any promotion you want. The building in particular is unlocked at the civic: reformed church

Well, it's not so hard when playing as vanilla, just send a martyr convert a city ( like poland or araby ) convert one of these cities, wait near for them sending you religious units to fight but i understand people that want something like that

@alejandro Why build St. Michel if the goal isn't to get as many relics as possible?
DB  [author] 22 Feb, 2019 @ 5:10am
