Recipe for pamonha in real life:

12 ears of green corn
1 cup of water
2 tea-cup of sugar
1 tea-cup of fine grated coconut
1 pinch of salt
Corn straws for packaging

Preparing

1-Grate the spikes or cut them close to the cob and pass in the blender along with the water.
2-Add coconut, sugar and stir well.
3-Put the dough on the corncob and tie it tightly.
4-In a large saucepan boil the water well, and go placing the pamonhas one by one after the full boil of the water.
5-Important: the water must be boiling to receive the pamonhas, otherwise they will fall apart.
6-Cook for about 40 minutes, removing the pamonhas with the aid of a skimmer.
7-Let cool in a cool place.
8-Serve with coffee and grated cheese.
