located somewhere in central Russia, on the border between the taiga and the steppes, including a great river and great opportunities!

Things you need to run this map (all mods and assets are involved in this collection), but especially:
The Unlimited Trees Mod: set scale to at least 5*, because there are roughly 1.25 million trees. In the full version there are 1.7 million.
The 81 Tiles Mod to be able to reach the entire map.
Network Extensions 2, needed for the various types of realistic roads.
The Realistic Boreal Map Theme.

The starting tile lies between two hills with orthodox churches on the top of them and on the shore of the great river. Big Russian cities often lie on a great river have a big reservoir near them. You can create one by building a dam between both hills. Two thirds of the map is covered by dense Taiga with occasional meadows or glades. The other part are steppes, also very typical for Russian landscape. In the central hills, there are a few deciduous woods in autmn colours.
Both road and railway connections go from the steppes to the Taiga, crossing the river in the central part of the map. There are airplane connections and a ship path in the lower part of the river as well.
