Weaponary of the Eldar
In this section i will cover the numerous weapons of the Eldar

Starcannons:

Light Prow star cannon.
Damage 1 (damage per shot)
Number of Attacks 1 ( shots per volley)
Rate of fire 3 ( reload time)
Crit chance 0.25 ( chances of damaging a module)
6k range
90 degrees angle of fire from the front.

While weak, this weapon can pack a punch, your not gonna be relying on this weapon but it is an alright weapon for the escorts. other than that, not much to it!

Prow star cannon.

This is the most used macro equivalent weapon the eldar has, its not going to be your main weapon to deal damage but is good for stripping down shields!
available to the cruisers, solaris, eclipse and the hellebore.

Heavy Prow starcannon.

The macro weapon of the void stalker, packs a nice punch at 9k range


Pulsars:

Prow pulsars.

number of attacks ( ammount of pulsar beams shot) 3

and the firing arc is only in the front.
This weapon used to claim alot of the souls of the ELDAR OP people, now mostly to strip shields but is still a fearsome weapon to go up against. available to the eclipse hellebore hemlock and aurora.

Heavy prow pulsars.

This weapon is only available to the void stalker and rightfully so.
it has the best pulsar range of 9k, which is the only feature that is different from normal pulsars but the extra 3k range is a great improvement.

Torpedoes:

Prow light torpedo launcher.
45 damage ( per torpedo)

available to the night shade, this torpedo launcher like any other torpedo launchers are known for its speed but not the ammount of torpedos fired. a reliable torp launcher for an escort!

avaiable to the shadow and the eclipse torpedo variant and the aurora, this torpedo launcher is basically the same as the light torp launcher but with 4 torps! effective at surprising the enemy with swift torpedoes!

Launch bays.
cooldown 60 ( cooldown of fighters and bombers)

This is the main weapon of the eldar (not counting the favors)
the launch bay features both fighters and bombers
but the speical feature is that they get 30 percent chance to cheat death,
this can stack with the eagle pilots! per eagle pilot adds 10 percent to the percentage to cheat death, this can go up to 60 percent! eldar bombers are the most reliable bombers in terms of getting through to their ships.
The fighter squadron is of a 6 and they orbit around your ship, protecting your ship against torpedoes and other ordnance
the bombers consists of 3 fighters and 3 bombers, each bomber doing 40 damage and have 10 crit chance.
available to the shadow kurnous pattern, the eclipse , solaris and the voidstalker with 4!
The Space elves Kite things
This section will go through all the ships available to the eldar!
All of the eldar ships have holofields instead of shields, it is a shield that absorbs most lance hits and reduces the accuracy of macro equivalents. if the ship is below 50 percent speed the holofields decrease if it is above 90 percent speed, it goes higher. this holofield encourages you to be on the move.
80 percent chance to absorb lance hits at maximum speed.
base accuracy reducion 40 percent
maximum accuracy reduction 50 percent
Eldar also get the most accurate shooting macro equivalents
3k range 85%
6k range 70%
9k range 55%
12k range 40%
Eldar also have less insubordination ( less chance of trying to warp away without you doing it) chances
with 20% chance at 30% hp
and 8% for a lineship loss
and 2% for a escort ship loss
compared to the chaos and imperial navys

Eldar also have bad traits on top of all the good traits.
all their ships have the fragile trait, which means you deal 50 percent less damage when ramming and +100% crit chance against you.
Eldars solar sails are both good and bad, instead of a normal all ahead full, you get a short burst of speed replacing it.
but each time your engine gets critical hitted, your speed goes down by 50 percent everytime up to 2-4 times depending on the ships ammount of sails, each destroyed sail also reduces the effect of the holofields by 10 percent.


Escorts:

Aconite.

45 rotation speed ( speed of turning)
detection range 5k ( range of when you spot the enemy ships)
50 troop value ( higher troop value reduces chances of successful boarding)
6 turrets ( to shoot down enemy ordnance)
25 armour all around ( reduces damage)
15 light prow star cannons ( yes 15)
This escort is good for taking out the enemies ships shields and can be a real potential threat against any enemy if left alone and kept alive, i dont tend to use this escort much because i usually move my escorts around alot.

my go to escort, cheap and with a pulsar! use them to spot , pulsar n run.

Most eldar players prefer this escort over the others but i just think that its too expensive and gives up a bit of speed. but still a great escort in dealing with a single enemy ship.

Always try to attack with maelstroms, statis pulsar maelstrom,
early eldar is a dreadful experience to play through, auroras and shadow kurnous pattern to imitate the high level play.
auroras for the pulsar/ shield stripping and the shadow kurnous for bombing runs.
it takes alot of skill to beat AIRCASTE as eldar
i generally have not too much trouble agaisnt normal tau like water caste and earth caste

How does one fight Tau as the Eldar? I've tried so many times but nothing seems to work.
