Description
Disclaimer: to avoid complications with workshop version of this, you can get ALL font mods at this link
http://l4d2.gamebanana.com/guis/27825

If you don't like that after update some HUD fonts are too narrow, here's the old version.

Be advised that for current build of L4D2 & workshop, you need to use the following command to load it from console:

alias reloadfont "mat_setvideomode 1920 1080 1; mat_setvideomode 1920 1080 0"

-you need to replace "1920 1080" with your l4d2 resolution and then add it to your autoexec.cfg in /cfg folder.
If you don't have an autoexec.cfg in
steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\cfg\
you can create a .txt file and rename it to autoexec.cfg, then edit it with any text editor like notepad.
More on mat_setvideomode here:
http://pastebin.com/YEiMzJT0

After the command is added to autoexec / aliased , you'll be able to execute it from console (by typing "reloadfont" )
in order to load / activate the font mod.

You can also use the reloadfont button feature of my "Game Menu" mod for that matter.

@bianca crazy thing is... i changed antialiasing option and the game refreshed after a while and surprise lfd1 fonts were there loaded. So its a nice workaround too if u wanna do some extra steps

I posted this about 4 years ago: Here's an easier answer if you can't handle the technical stuff. Make sure the addon is turned on and all your addon's are FULLY loaded up, then go to you video resolution. If your default is say (as an example) 1920 x 1080, change it to say 1600 x 900 (as an example) and click done. The font will change when the resolution is refreshed. Go back into your video settings again and switch it back to your default and it will keep the font. I use this technique every time.

I just got this to work momentarily, no idea how it happened. But next time I launched the game it was back to the crusty ass vanilla L4D2 font.

Man, this font is way better than the L4D2 one, i wish Valvel update the game and include this font officialy in the game, with a option to choose between the two.
